The Bank of Korea is situated in central Seoul, near Myeongdong and Seoul City Hall.
All buildings and properties of the Bank of Korea are managed as “top security” locations based on the security grading system of the government of the Republic of Korea.
Therefore, if you have a plan to visit the Bank of Korea, all participants must bring valid identification (passport or ID card) and schedule an appointment in advance with their respective department or contact partner.
Visitors without proper identification or a prior engagement will not be permitted to enter and will be directed to the Visitor Center.
However, participants in the 2024 Bank of Korea International Conference will be provided with name badges, which they must always wear to gain access through the main gate or visitor center. Please refer to the attached map for the location of the main gate and the information desk of the Bank of Korea.
